Motor Insurance is compulsory by law covering the Insured’s legal liability to pay damages to third parties in respect of bodily injury, death and property damage arising out of the use of the motor vehicle.
There are three types of covers in Singapore:
Comprehensive
Provides complete protection for your motor vehicle, covering against:
Windscreen damage to the Insured vehicle
Personal injury or property damage to third parties including passengers
Personal accident benefit to the Insured and the passengers
Medical expenses benefit to the Insured and the passengers
Third Party Fire and Theft
Third Party, fire and theft insurance satisfies the minimum legal requirements and in addition provides cover for loss of or damage to the vehicle itself caused by fire or theft.
Third Party
Third party insurance provides the minimum compulsory cover required by law in respect of the Insured’s liability for death or bodily injury to third parties or damage to third's party property.
